We would like to inform you that GTSTRUDL® Version 2016.R2 (35.2) has been officially released and will be distributed to customers having an active maintenance contract. Else, if you want to upgrade to version 2016.R2 (35.2), you have to renew your maintenance contract with STRUDL Europe.
The new version, 2016.R2, includes the latest version of CAD Modeler in the same license and CD, at no additional cost.
Most important new features of Version 2016.R2 are:
- CAD Modeler now runs on BricsCAD Pro and Platinum editions (Version 16.2.09) in addition to AutoCAD (versions 2012-2017).
- A new WIND LOAD command has been implemented to create GT STRUDL independent loading conditions comprised of applied member and joint loads computed according to ASCE Standards 7-05 and 7-10.
- Improvements in GTMENU (self weight, local axes display, zoom functionality, AutoDisplay option.
- Speed improvements for CAD Modeler and better labeling (always normal to screen plane).
- Scope Editor improvements (template, compressed gap to Global Coordinate System).
